Magical day again for Wimborne 10. Clear skies - what more could you want. We had 437 Wimborne 10 finishers!. Winner this year is George Miller of Poole Runners coming in at 52:56 - winning also in 2010 /11 - magnificent acheivement. First lady was Sarah Chaloner (Poole AC) at 66:19

Poole Runners took the Mens and Ladies team prizes.

Running conditions were excellent and our luck is with us. We had some good comments regarding the marshalls who keep us smiling and also our well known and appreciated tea and cakes at the end - more than enough to go around. Plenty of compliments all-round on our 10 mile course.

Thanks to all who helped and participated. We have the loud bangs! from the muskett men at the start this year. There seem to be 7 or 8 guns this year - most impressive.

The Starting Crew

Plenty of compliments on our W10 mile course, as well as those wonderful tea & cakes that we are known for! Race limit was reached for the 2012, so get those entries in early. See you again in 2013...

Previous runners have told us that the course was great, - they must have forgot about that last hill (Hmm!)
Although challenging, the course take you through some very pleasant countryside.
Its nice to hear comments like "I'd definitely recommend this race to anyone for next year."
